Limited Comprehensive Warranty Policy – Home Furniture SA
At Home Furniture SA, we are committed to providing high-quality furniture and curtain products. Our Limited Comprehensive Warranty ensures our customers’ peace of mind, covering structural components, fabrics, and craftsmanship under normal usage conditions.
Warranty Coverage
1. Wooden Frame, Foam & Springs Warranty
- The wooden frame is covered for 1 years against manufacturing defects.
- Foam and springs are covered for 6 Month.
- If any manufacturing defect appears within the warranty period, we will replace the defective foam, springs, or the damaged part of the wooden frame.
2. Fabric & Curtain Material Warranty
- All fabrics, including those used for curtains, are covered for 1 year against manufacturing defects such as pilling or bubbling under normal use.
- If a fabric defect is found during the warranty period, we will replace the defective piece with the same model. If the model is unavailable, a replacement of equal value will be provided.
- This policy does not allow for a cash refund.
If the price of the new item exceeds the original, the customer must pay the difference. If the new item is of lesser value, the difference will not be refunded and will be considered product usage depreciation.
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Repairs or modifications made by third parties.
- Products altered at the customer’s request.
- Wear and tear due to misuse (e.g., pets, harsh cleaning methods, high heat washing, bleach, rough brushes).
- Fading, staining, odors, or fabric discoloration caused by improper storage or usage.
- Items shipped outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Damage from regular wear and tear, scratches, or daily use.
- Warranty transfer from the original purchaser.
- Gift items and clearance sale products.
- Transportation fees for delivery outside cities where our branches are located (flat fee: 800 SAR).
Extended Warranty Service
Customers can extend the warranty for an additional 1 year for a fee of 1,000 SAR per set, either at purchase or within 12 months of the original invoice. The extended warranty begins from the invoice date.
Post-Warranty Services
After the warranty period, we offer foam replacement services for a minimal fee of 50 SAR per seat. For 3-seater sofas, this is considered as 3 seats.
Delivery Policy
- Free delivery is available on invoices above 1,500 SAR within cities where Home Furniture SA branches are located (up to 50 km).
- For other locations, delivery charges will apply.
- If the customer is not present at the agreed time/location, rescheduling will require an additional fee: 300 SAR in cities with branches. Full delivery costs will apply in other areas.
- We will install sofa legs upon delivery if the customer requests. If the customer prefers to delay this, a 300 SAR installation fee will be charged later.
- Free delivery within our service cities will be completed within 10 days of invoice issuance, except for made-to-order products, which will be delivered within 3 months of manufacturing completion.
Storage Policy
- We offer 30 days of free storage.
- After this, 25 SAR per day per set will be charged, for a maximum of 30 additional days.
- If the item is not claimed within this extended period, the invoice is canceled. The customer may only exchange the product for another of the same value (no refunds).
- During sale seasons, we aim to deliver within 30 business days, except for custom-made sets. If delivery exceeds this time, the customer is entitled to a full refund with no other compensation.
Home Furniture SA is not responsible for any damage occurring after delivery or if transported using third-party services. Products must be inspected at delivery—failure to unbox and inspect the product voids warranty claims for damage or missing parts.
Payment Methods
We accept:
- Cash
- Mada cards
- Visa
- Bank transfers
Invoices are issued only after payment is confirmed in our account. Home Furniture SA is not responsible for transfer delays.
Return & Exchange Policy
- Customers may return or exchange items within 7 days of purchase if they have not yet been delivered.
- Refunds will be processed via bank transfer or cheque within 15 business days.
- If a promotional discount is applied, customers may still request a price adjustment within 7 days of the invoice date.
- If the customer wants to exchange an item after a promotion ends, it will be exchanged at the current price, not the discounted price.
Note: We assist with space and measurement estimations, but we are not responsible for incorrect room sizing. Products cannot be returned or exchanged due to size mismatch after delivery.
1-Year Exchange Offer
Customers may exchange their purchased furniture within 1 years of delivery for a new set at 40% off the current price. This offer cannot be combined with other discounts.
Policy Validity
Home Furniture SA reserves the right to modify its warranty, payment, delivery, exchange, and other service policies at any time without prior notice. No party may claim entitlement to a previous policy once updated.
